1. Your key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for answering the switchboard and ensuring that the contacts are directed at the appropriate personnel
  • Ensure the reception area is always attended during office hours
  • Ensure that the meeting rooms are always tidy
  • Screen all clients/visitors and make sure that all guests are escorted to the meeting rooms and offered drinks
  • Take messages and forward these immediately to the appropriate recipients
  • Make sure that appropriate messages are used for after hours and public/firm holidays
  • Ensure that the contact list is updated for use at the reception area
  • Treat all office matters with the utmost confidentiality
  • Handle other duties as assigned by management (car booking, taxi reconciliation, meeting room booking, etc.)

 2. Skills and attributes for success:

  • Good communication skills and good command of spoken English
  • Good computer literacy (MS Word/Excel/Power Point)
  • Proactive and well-organized
  • Conscientious, service and customer-oriented
  • Result-oriented
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Fresh graduates with majors in Office Administration, Human Resources, Business Administration or related degree or having 1-2 years of experience as a receptionist.
