I. JOB DESCRIPTION:

Role Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and proactive individual at the early stage of their career to join the British Chamber of Commerce Vietnam (BritCham) in a dynamic events and partnerships role. The Event and Partnership Executive will be responsible for planning and delivering events in Hanoi and managing sponsorships and partnerships to support these activities.

This position offers hands-on experience across a wide range of event types — social, business, and charity — and requires a detail-oriented, creative, and enthusiastic team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The role also involves close collaboration with our HCMC Events, Marketing & Communications, and Corporate Relations teams to ensure consistent delivery and member engagement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Event Management:

  • Plan and deliver logistics for events in Hanoi from concept through execution.
  • Lead the design of the event experience to ensure high-quality delivery aligned with BritCham’s objectives and member needs.
  • Manage the end-to-end participant journey, including registration, follow-ups, on-site support, and post-event feedback.
  • Take ownership of the event P&L: manage budgets, track expenses, and support cost-efficiency.
  • Lead on-site event setup, liaising with vendors and coordinating with internal team members for smooth execution.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop event communications and promotional content across channels.

2. Partnerships and Sponsorships:

  • Identify, pitch, and secure sponsorships (financial and in-kind) for Hanoi-based events.
  • Maintain relationships with existing partners and explore new partnership opportunities.
  • Ensure sponsor deliverables are met and followed up with appropriate visibility and acknowledgements.

3. Operational Support:

  • Ensure timely processing of event-related financials including invoicing, payments, and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate event records on internal platforms including participant lists, receipts, and documentation.
  • Provide support to other team members as needed and contribute to wider chamber activities.
  • Carry out other ad hoc tasks as assigned
II. REQUIREMENTS:

Must-have:

  • Fresh graduate or up to 3 years of relevant experience in event management, partnerships, marketing, or communications.
  • Highly proactive, responsible, and well-organised with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • A team player who can also take initiative and work independently.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours during events.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with design or event tools is a plus.
  • Good command of English and Vietnamese (spoken and written).
