1. ABOUT THE POSITION:

As part of VinUni’s vision, the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a critical role in attracting world-class academic talent. Reporting to Recruitment Manager, the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will be a specialist in academic recruitment and will develop and implement recruitment strategies to support the university’s growth and global standing. This position also involves building an excellent employer brand and ensuring a seamless, customer-focused HR service to meet VinUni’s ambitious goals.
2. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Search and Selection:
- Conduct thorough searches to identify potential candidates for faculty positions using multiple sourcing channels, including academic networks, job boards, professional associations, and social media platforms.
- Review applications, resumes, and academic credentials to assess candidate suitability for specific faculty roles.
- Manage the interview process, including scheduling, coordinating with academic departments, and conducting initial interviews to evaluate qualifications, teaching experience, and research expertise.
- Collaborate with academic leadership to define selection criteria and ensure alignment with the university’s strategic goals.
Onboarding:
- Oversee the onboarding process for newly hired faculty members, ensuring that all necessary paperwork and compliance requirements are completed.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure new faculty receive appropriate training, resources, and support for a successful integration into the university’s academic environment.
- Provide ongoing support to new faculty during their transition, ensuring they have the tools and information needed for a smooth start to their teaching and research responsibilities.
Data Management and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all recruitment activities, including candidate interactions, interview feedback, and hiring outcomes.
- Provide regular recruitment reports to senior management, highlighting key performance metrics, trends, and insights related to faculty recruitment.
- Analyze recruitment data to assess the effectiveness of sourcing strategies, identify areas for improvement, and recommend actionable changes to improve recruitment outcomes.
Other tasks assigned by the manager, assist with related HR matters, VinUni culture events, HR projects and initiatives.
3. KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:
- Graduate from a prestige university in HRM, Psychology, Business or related field.
- 05 years of HR experience or equivalent in a sophisticated diverse environment.
- Excellent English proficiency, equivalent to IELTS 7.5 or above, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- An appreciative understanding of the challenges inherent in operating a new university, combined with creativity, resilience, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders to effectively address challenges and create opportunities that advance the mission and vision of the college/university.

- Knowledge of labor code and work permit/visa/passport for foreign employees is an advantage.
