1. About the Role:

• We are currently seeking a Legal Intern to join our team at GPL - a foreign law firm under RBA Vietnam that provides high-quality legal services to international companies operating in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
• The Internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on legal experience in a dynamic, international work environment with a focus on foreign investment law, corporate services, and regulatory compliance in Vietnam.
• As a Legal Intern, you will wok directly with our lawyers and advisors to support client matters and internal projects on a day-to-day basis.
• This role will be converted to an official staff position after the internship.

2. Key responsibilities includes (but are not limited to):

• Assist in legal research; prepare and update client-facing materials such as newsletters, legal briefs, and presentation content;
• Support the drafting and review of contracts, company policies, internal regulations, licensing/tax applications and other documents;
• Help preparing advisory notes, legal memos, reports, client briefing documents, articles, and service proposals;
• Join client meetings (when applicable) and support follow-up actions;
• Provide support on due diligence reports in M&A transactions;
• Support lawyers in seminars, client sessions, and information-sharing activities when needed;
• Handle other legal or administrative tasks as required.

3. Who we'are looking for:

• Currently in the final year of, or recently graduated with, a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree or equivalent;
• Strong interest in foreign investment law, corporate law, tax and international businesses;
• Comfortable working with legal documents in both English and Vietnamese;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel);
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken (mandatory);
• Proactive, responsible, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment;
• Responsible, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality.
• Attention to detail, logical thinking, and strong legal writing skills.
