1. JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide information on DHL Express products and services, helping customers select the right options for their needs.
- Consult with customers regarding product types, pricing, and available sales programs.
- Actively promote and upsell DHL services to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales
- Handle payment collections from customers accurately and efficiently.
- Process transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system and maintain cash handling procedures
- Maintain accurate records of sales transactions and customer interactions.
- Participate in regular and ad hoc meetings; make work reports as required.
- Ensure the retail outlet counter and surrounding areas are clean, organized, and presentable at all times
- Conduct regular checks to maintain cleanliness and address any issues promptly.
- Ensure that all company branding is displayed in accordance with DHL regulations and guidelines.
- Present Point of Sale Materials (POSMs) as required, ensuring they are up-to-date and aligned with marketing campaigns.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, pricing, and operational procedures.
- Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate with other departments as necessary.
- Being responsible for the overall cleanliness, upkeep and maintenance of a store.
- Ordering new merchandise and ensure received items are properly displayed.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the line manager.
2. REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor diploma or equivalent; additional education in business or sales is a plus.
- Experience in sales/sales processes
- Knowledge and understanding of the Retail trade from a service perspective.
- At least 1 year experience in a sales, customer service or marketing role, preferably in a retail or logistics environment.
- English fluent (written and spoken)
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software, including POS systems.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
