1. JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.                        
  • Provide information on DHL Express products and services, helping customers select the right options for their needs.                                                       
  • Consult with customers regarding product types, pricing, and available sales programs.
  • Actively promote and upsell DHL services to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales
  • Handle payment collections from customers accurately and efficiently.                           
  • Process transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system and maintain cash handling procedures       
  • Maintain accurate records of sales transactions and customer interactions.                                   
  • Participate in regular and ad hoc meetings; make work reports as required.                                  
  • Ensure the retail outlet counter and surrounding areas are clean, organized, and presentable at all times 
  • Conduct regular checks to maintain cleanliness and address any issues promptly.                         
  • Ensure that all company branding is displayed in accordance with DHL regulations and guidelines.
  • Present Point of Sale Materials (POSMs) as required, ensuring they are up-to-date and aligned with marketing campaigns.                                                                                            
  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, pricing, and operational procedures. 
  • Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate with other departments as necessary.                       
  • Being responsible for the overall cleanliness, upkeep and maintenance of a store.                        
  • Ordering new merchandise and ensure received items are properly displayed.        
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the line manager.              
2. REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor diploma or equivalent; additional education in business or sales is a plus.
  • Experience in sales/sales processes                                                                                            
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Retail trade from a service perspective.                               
  • At least 1 year experience in a sales, customer service or marketing role, preferably in a retail or logistics environment.  
  • English fluent (written and spoken)
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and software, including POS systems.
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.       
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
