JOB DESCRIPTION
OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Convert traffic from the mall to the stores:
- Work with the store leaders:
- To build, and lead the store communication plan (inside the stores & inside the mall) based on traffic & sales KPIs and budget plan
- Build the yearly internal com budget for each store with the store Leaders (strong on peak times) and present it for validation to City leader and National com leader.
- Debrief each month the budget per store and measure the performance.
- To be the advisor going along with store leaders in the negotiation & connection of the mall & tenants (store leaders are the key contact person to deal directly with the mall and tenants)
- To ensure sport departments follow the brief to animate all installation & execution in the stores and events: each sport department leader is responsible for each event, as soon as his sport is concerned.
- Manage omni communication of all the stores events:
- Define materials, channels, budget, timeline & KPIs
- Manage cost, quality, lead time of delivery & KPIs
- Manage designer & printing agency & advertising agency
- Legal relay for all commercial activities → DOIT submission
2. Ensure stores look professional and sales trigger:
- All ILVs & PLVs & decoration:
- Follow 100% of national impulse first !
- For stores: collect the needs from the stores to design, print out & deliver to stores on time, on quantity & on budget
- For national campaigns: print out & deliver to stores on time, on quantity & on budget
- Lead the modernization of the stores (new brand image) for Communication part
- Audit and promote store experience via online channels:
- Whenever needed for the store displays (micro)
- Quarterly audit for store identity (macro concept such as showroom, main aisle, cash till, community area..)
The internal communication leader does not do the store‘s job = Each department manager is RESPONSIBLE for the proper application of the communication in his or her department (implementation of POP, ILV, ....).
Technical skills requirement:
- Define & manage content that drives the success of the 2 main responsibilities mentioned above: Flyers, mailings, videos, etc.
- Catch the trends in social media & communication
- Manage and animate communication plan (with national marcomm leader, commercial leader, store leaders, and sport leaders)
- Analyze the behavior of users and sports competitors based on their benchmark. Design innovative interactions and services for Decathlon’s target C-USERS
