I. Job description:
Our Global Shared Service Center (Global SSC) is currently hiring 15 Sea Export Staff to handle the transition of logistics operations from our Korean Headquarters to Vietnam. The project is expected to go live in May. All new hires will be provided with comprehensive, step-by-step training by experienced professionals from Korea to ensure a seamless handover and stable operations.
As part of the team, you will contribute directly to our global logistics activities.
Candidates will be appointed to one of 2 following functional areas:
1. Documentation:
- Document Handling: Receive, review, and validate shipping instructions and related documents from customers, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Bill of Lading (B/L): Prepare, check, and issue Bills of Lading in compliance with required timelines and standards.
- Compliance & Filing: Submit cargo manifests and Verified Gross Mass (VGM) data to carriers/authorities. Handle advanced filing requirements such as AFR, ISF for designated markets (e.g., Japan, US).
- Insurance Coordination: Work with insurance partners to arrange cargo insurance based on customer requests.
2. Shipment Tracking:
- Shipment Monitoring: Track shipment movements and status via carrier platforms and internal systems.
- Reporting: Prepare and share tracking reports with customers and internal teams on a regular or ad-hoc basis.
- Issue Management: Identify potential delays or disruptions and proactively update stakeholders on shipment progress and key milestones.
II. Requirements:
- CV in English. Vietnamese is unacceptable.
- Graduated from University.
- Fresh graduates are welcome, especially in Logistics, Import–Export, or Supply Chain Management; experience in logistics is preferred.
- Good at English communication (both speaking and writing). Proficiency in Korean is a plus.
- Ability to write professionally via e-mail.
- Customer-oriented attitude.
