The University of Melbourne Graduate Research Scholarship 2024 is currently open for applications, welcoming candidates worldwide to pursue Master by Research or Doctoral degree programs for the academic year 2024-2025. This fully funded scholarship initiative aims to support both domestic and international students, offering a remarkable opportunity for educational and research pursuits.

With an impressive allocation of approximately 600 scholarships, this program covers not only the entire tuition fee but also includes a stipend to assist with living expenses. Additionally, recipients will benefit from a relocation allowance and comprehensive health insurance coverage for international students.

The duration of the scholarships corresponds to the length of the respective study programs, providing support for two years for those undertaking Master by Research degrees and up to 3.5 years for students pursuing doctoral degrees. This holistic approach ensures that scholars can focus on their academic endeavors without the burden of financial concerns.

The scholarships will cover the following:

• Full tuition fee.
• Stipend for living expenses. (Living allowance of $37,000)
• Relocation allowance.
• Health insurance for international students.

Scholarships are available for the duration of the program; 2 years for students undertaking Master by Research degree, and up to 3.5 years for students undertaking doctoral degrees.

Scholarships are available for Master by Research and Doctoral degrees only.

Scholarships are available for all subjects available at The University of Melbourne, Australia.

To be eligible for the scholarships, applicants must meet all the eligibility criteria below:

• Applicants must meet all the entry requirements for a Master by Research or Ph.D. degree program.
• Applicants must have applied for a graduate research degree.
• Scholarships are available for current students and new students commencing study in the academic year 2024 – 2025.

600 (six hundred) scholarships will be available in 2024.

Scholarships are available for all students domestic & international students.

Applications must be submitted by October 31, 2024

• This scholarship program is highly competitive.
• Students must have applied for the program and will be automatically considered for the scholarship.

New students must have applied for a graduate research course by the closing date and will be automatically considered for the scholarship.

Current students must submit an online application form by the closing date in order to be considered for a scholarship.

Applicants will be notified that the scholarship application has been added to their application record within seven days after submitting the online form.
