University Postgraduate Award (UPA) at University of Wollongong 2026 is offered for Masters, PhD degree in the field of HDR subjects. The deadline for the sending your application is 23 May, 2026. This scholarship is provided by University of Wollongong (UOW), Australia and the value of this scholarship is Partial Funding, Annual stipend + concurrent awards . This scholarship is open for: Open to all nationals.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicant must be enrolled in a Higher Degree Research program at the university.
- The applicant may be admitted full-time or part-time.
- An International applicant must meet visa requirements specified by the Department of Home Affairs.
- The applicant must not be receiving an equivalent scholarship or salary providing a benefit greater than 75% of the award deemed to undertake the research program.
Application Process:
- Interested candidates must submit an online application at the time of admission.
- Application Deadline: International applications: 23 May and Domestic applications: 3 October.
Value of the Scholarship:
- The selected candidates are awarded an annual stipend mentioned in the offer letter.
- Part-time award holders are entitled to the approved part-time stipend rate, which is not exempt from taxation.
- Full-time award holders are entitled to the stipend rate (tax-free).
- 2025 stipend: $35,522 p.a., non-taxable for full-time candidates. Stipends are indexed annually.
Note:
- The award holder must submit annual progress reports to continue availing the scholarship.
