Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicant must be enrolled in a Higher Degree Research program at the university.
• The applicant may be admitted full-time or part-time.
• An International applicant must meet visa requirements specified by the Department of Home Affairs.
• The applicant must not be receiving an equivalent scholarship or salary providing a benefit greater than 75% of the award deemed to undertake the research program.

Application Process:

• Interested candidates must submit an online application at the time of admission.
• Application Deadline: International applications: 23 May and Domestic applications: 3 October.

Value of the Scholarship:

• The selected candidates are awarded an annual stipend mentioned in the offer letter.
• Part-time award holders are entitled to the approved part-time stipend rate, which is not exempt from taxation.
• Full-time award holders are entitled to the stipend rate (tax-free).
• 2025 stipend: $35,522 p.a., non-taxable for full-time candidates. Stipends are indexed annually.

Note: 

• The award holder must submit annual progress reports to continue availing the scholarship.
