MARIHE (Master in Research and Innovation in Higher Education) is an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master (EMJM) programme supported by the European Union. The programme has a duration of four semesters (two years) and the language of instruction is English. It is jointly conducted by a consortium of prominent universities: University for Continuing Education Krems (Austria), Tampere University (Finland), Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences (Germany), Eötvös Loránd University (Hungary), University of Aveiro (Portugal), Beijing Normal University (China), and Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (India).

BENEFITS
For Erasmus Mundus scholarship holders, the programme provides comprehensive financial support:
- Full coverage of participation costs/tuition fees, which amounts to EUR 18,000.
- A monthly allowance of EUR 1,400 as a contribution to travel, visa, installation, and subsistence costs.
- Worldwide health and accident insurance.
ELIGIBILITY
- Hold a conferred first university degree with a minimum duration of three years of full-time studies (180 ECTS) in any field or subject.
- Show a strong motivation and interest in learning and working within the field of development and management of research and innovation in higher education.
- Prove sufficient knowledge of English for academic purposes by providing one of the accepted test certificates: TOEFL iBT (minimum score of 92), IELTS Academic (minimum overall score of 6.5 with no individual score below 5.5), PTE Academic (minimum score of 62), or Cambridge C1/C2. Exemptions are possible for applicants who meet specific previous study criteria.
HOW TO APPLY
- All applications must be submitted electronically through the MARIHE application database (Evalato).
- For the first application round, applicants are required to upload exactly nine mandatory application documents: MARIHE Application Form, Passport/National ID, Europass Curriculum Vitae (CV), Letter of Motivation (LOM), Final university degree certificate(s), Transcript(s) of Records, English test certificate, Two Letters of Recommendation, and an Essay.
