SCHOLARSHIP DETAILS

Monthly stipend: 300 € (€150 from government + €150 from private sponsor)

Minimum duration: 2 semesters (winter + summer), with possible extension up to the standard program length (6 semesters for Bachelor’s, 4 for Master’s), or based on special circumstances

Additional support: includes mentoring, workshops, internships, and networking events
Selection is based on a holistic review of:

Academic excellence (high school, university grades)

Work experience, volunteering, awards

Personal background (e.g., overcoming hardship, caregiving, refugee status, first-generation students)
No minimum GPA is required, but strong academic performance helps

Open period: July 28, 2025 (10 am CEST) – August 25, 2025 (4 pm CEST)

Scholarship starts: from October 1, 2025, for the 2025/26 Winter semester

Confirm enrollment at FU Berlin or receipt of an admission letter

Submit an online application via the university’s portal during the open period

Provide key documents: enrollment/matriculation certificate, academic transcripts, proof of awards/internships/volunteering, and one recommendation letter
