The University of Sydney has initiated the Vice-Chancellor International Scholarship Scheme for international students to assist them in their financial need. This scholarship also supports high-achieving students in pursuing coursework studies at the university.
Eligibility criteria for the Vice-Chancellor's International Scholarships Scheme:
- Applicants must be international students.
- Applicants must demonstrate excellent academic achievements.
- Applicants must have applied for but not yet commenced a bachelor’s degree or a coursework master’s degree that is a CRICOS registered award program usually delivered onshore at the University of Sydney
- Applicants must receive an unconditional offer of admission.
Benefits:
Successful applicants will receive the following benefits based on the ranking against selection criteria:
- $40,000 payable for one year in two equal installments per semester
- $20,000 payable for one semester
- $10,000 payable for one semester
- $5,000 payable for one semester.
Application: No separate application is required. All qualified students who have received an unconditional offer of admission by the dates listed below will be automatically considered:
- Round 1 - 1 March 2024
- Round 2 - 15 April 2024
- Round 3 - 3 June 2024
