Monthly Stipends:
- The scholarship subsidizes six months of internship with a stipend of approximately €600 per month.
- Additionally, IDIL provides a scholarship of up to €600 per month for four months during the first semester in both M1 and M2.
Cultural Integration:
- As part of the program, students receive French language classes, participate in cultural visits, and enjoy sightseeing opportunities to immerse themselves in French culture.
Important Notes
The scholarship is not intended to be the primary source of income for students during their stay in France. Applicants are advised to plan additional financial resources accordingly.
Affordable Registration Fees
For the 2024/2025 academic year, the Master’s registration fee for international students at the University of Montpellier is just €250. This fee may change for the 2025/2026 academic year depending on the renewal of the partial tuition fee waiver by the Commission de la Formation et de la Vie Universitaire (CFVU).
Eligibility Criteria
- Must hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as environmental sciences or water engineering.
- Open to international students who have not studied at a French higher education institution in the last two years.
- Proficiency in English, demonstrated through TOEFL or IELTS, is required.
- Knowledge of French is an advantage but not mandatory.
