- Academic transcripts: Notarized translations in either Chinese or English must be attached to transcripts written in languages other than Chinese or English.
- Two letters of recommendation. Two reference letters from associate professors or higher are required of applicants.
- A minimum of 800 words should be devoted to a personal statement, either in Chinese or English, that details one's educational background, professional experiences, motivation for applying, and study schedule.
- A photocopy of the English language competency certifications.
- English native speakers do not need to provide the certificate.
- Non-native English speakers should present their TOEFL (80 or above) or IELTS (6.0 or higher) test results or other equivalent credentials.
- Candidates who have received their highest education in English may submit a certificate of proficiency in the language.
