Each year, the Australia National University offers a “University Research Scholarship” to pursue a Master’s Degree by Research or a PhD Degree by Research known as a Higher Degree by Research (HDR). Applicants don’t need to apply separately for this scholarship as they will be automatically eligible for the ANU Research Scholarship after getting the admission offer.

Eligibility Criteria
- The scholarship is open to national and international students seeking admission to the HDR Program.
- The award will be automatically given after completing and securing admission to the university.
- The scholarship will be given based on Academic Record, Research Potential, support from the prospective supervisor, Referee reports, and English Language competency.
