• The eligibility for the scholarship programs might be different from each other
• The scholarships are offered for all nationalities, including domestic students, yet some scholarships might be limited to specific countries

These scholarships are offered for the two year Master’s and Ph.D. programs that are offered by IUJ

The scholarship’s benefits will differ depending on the type of scholarship program applied by the students. The benefits that might be awarded for the applicants are:

• Tuition fee (full and partial)
• Monthly living allowance
• Admission fee
• Air transportation fees

The duration of the scholarship benefit might differ depending on the types of scholarship chosen by the applicants.

• Check the scholarships’ guidelines provided on IUJ official website before applying for the scholarship
• Apply online for the Master’s or Ph.D. degree course program that is provided by IUJ by visiting the IUJ admission website
• Fill in the scholarship application that is provided in the second phase of the course online application
• Complete the documents required for the admission and pay for the admission fee
• Submit the application forms before the deadline
• For applicants that are applying for the category C (Direct Scholarship Application to Other Institutions such as JICA, IMF, MEXT with Embassy Recommendation) scholarships, contact or visit the official website of the institutions that are offering the scholarship to apply

• The scholarships that are offered by The International University of Japan (IUJ) will do the selection process alongside the course programs applications selection process
• Announcement for the course program will be done at March or April for International students and between March until June for domestic students depending on the cycle of application
• The course program will start in September 2025

• The IUJ scholarship programs application will be closed based on the closing date of the course admission that varies between 11 December 2024 until 21 April 2025 for the international students.
• For domestic applicants, the closing date is between 21 January 2025 until 2 June 2025.

Admission fee might be reimbursed for the applicants that passed the MEXT scholarship selection process.
