• International graduate students from East and Southeast Asia who are enrolled in Japanese universities and are self-financing are eligible to apply for the Iwatani International Scholarship.
• Candidates must be enrolled in master’s or doctorate programs in interdisciplinary subjects that overlap with the natural sciences.

• Check that you meet all eligibility requirements, including nationality, academic background, and other criteria.
• Gather all necessary documents, such as academic transcripts, proof of graduation, CV or resume, passport copy, and language test results. Make sure non-English or non-Japanese documents are translated.
