The "Scholarships for Talented Students from All Over the World" is a prestigious initiative funded by the Ministry of Education, Research, Development, and Youth of the Slovak Republic. It aims to attract exceptional international talent to pursue higher education in Slovakia. The program financially supports full-time Bachelor's, joint Bachelor’s and Master’s, and Master's degree students enrolling in specific study programs that align with Slovakia's Smart Specialisation Strategy (SK RIS3 2021+).

BENEFITS

• Financial support of €5,000 per academic year.
• Paid out in monthly installments of €500 for ten months (September through June).
• Total funding can reach up to €15,000 for a 3-year Bachelor's degree (or joint program) and up to €10,000 for a 2-year Master's degree.
• Note: Waiving of tuition fees is at the sole discretion of the host higher education institution.

ELIGIBILITY

• Must be an international applicant (or a Slovak living abroad meeting official conditions).
• Must not have had a permanent residence in Slovakia between January 1, 2021, and the application deadline.
• Must not have previously studied at a secondary school in Slovakia.
• Bachelor's applicants: Must not have previously studied at a higher education institution in Slovakia (except for academic mobilities).
• Must be admitted to a supported full-time, in-person study program at a participating public Slovak higher education institution.
• Must meet the minimum threshold on a required standardized test: SAT test (Minimum total score of 1100); SCIO tests (Minimum average percentile of 63)
• Average of Mathematics and General Academic Prerequisites tests.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

• A notarized copy of your passport or national ID card.
• Official SAT or SCIO test certificate.
• Hand-signed Solemn Declaration of Permanent Residence.
• Hand-signed declaration regarding previous studies in Slovakia.
• A structured CV in English.
• A Motivation Letter in English.
• Certificate for Slovaks Living Abroad, if applicable.
• Consent of the Legal Guardian form if you are under 18 years old.
