Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) offers scholarship opportunities for new students enrolling in Master's and PhD programs for the first time. The scholarship aims to support outstanding international and domestic students with partial to full tuition fee waivers, fostering academic excellence and research at the university.

BENEFITS

• PhD Programs: 100% tuition fee scholarship for both international and Turkish/TRNC students.
• Master's Programs: 100% tuition fee scholarship for Turkish/TRNC students, and 50% tuition fee scholarship for international students.
• Research Assistantship: Students granted a 100% scholarship are appointed as ‘Category E Research Assistants’ (requiring 6 hours of work per week at academic or administrative units).
• Note: The scholarship covers only the tuition fee. Student services funds, registration fees, and books are not covered.

ELIGIBILITY

• Applicants must be enrolling in their respective postgraduate programs at EMU for the first time (re-enrolled or dismissed students are not eligible).
• For Master's Applicants: Must hold a minimum CGPA of 3.00 (out of 4.00) from an undergraduate degree program.
• For PhD Applicants: Must hold a minimum CGPA of 3.00 (out of 4.00) from an undergraduate program, OR a CGPA between 2.75 - 2.99 from an undergraduate program paired with a minimum CGPA of 3.50 (out of 4.00) from a Master's program.
• To maintain the scholarship for subsequent terms, students must succeed in all courses taken and achieve a minimum CGPA of 3.00 out of 4.00.
