Linnaeus University is an international university with more than 50 programmes offered in English within a range of different subjects. The university combines the highest possible quality in education and research with the demands and needs of both the surrounding community and our students. Linnaeus University offers a student scholarship in collaboration with IKEA and Södra through our unique collaboration The Bridge. The number of scholarships for 2026 is yet to be decided. In previous years, up to four scholarships have been offered, typically one for each discipline in the master’s programmes: Innovation through Business, Engineering and Design, and one for Forestry for Green Sustainable Development.

What scholarship offer?
The scholarship is a full comprehensive scholarship that covers:
- 100 % of the tuition fee for the programme
- Living costs: 10 584 SEK/month
The scholarship does not cover the application fee of SEK.
Who can apply?
You are eligible to apply if you:
- have applied for the master’s programmes Innovation through Business, Engineering and Design or Forestry for Green Sustainable Development as your first choice via www.universityadmissions.se.
You can apply for the scholarship for any of the three disciplines of the master’s programme Innovation through Business, Engineering and Design. - have submitted your application before January 15 and have sent/uploaded all required documents before February 2
- have paid the application fee to www.universityadmissions.se before February 2
- have filled out the application form for the scholarship before the application deadline.
Who will be awarded?
The decision to award scholarships will primarily be based on the students' academic merits. Usually, this is based on the CGPA, but the ranking of the previous university and the students' proficiency in English will also be considered. Linnaeus University also favors an even distribution of students when it comes to country of origin and gender.
The number of scholarships for the upcoming year is yet to be decided for 2026. In previous years, up to four scholarships have been offered, typically one for each discipline in the master’s programmes:
- Innovation through Business
- Engineering and Design
- Forestry for Green Sustainable Development.
