Founded in 1956, Zhengzhou University is the largest university in China in terms of student enrollment, offering 110 undergraduate programs, 256 master’s programs, and 127 doctoral programs across 12 disciplines. Currently, 72,000 students study across 46 schools or departments. Among them, more than 2,700 international students are pursuing undergraduate, master’s, or doctoral degrees at Zhengzhou University (ZZU).
1. Program Details
- Degree level: Master’s.

- Funding: 30,000 RMB per year, for a maximum of three years.

2. Scholarship Amount and Benefits
The Henan Government Scholarship at Zhengzhou University covers tuition fees up to 30,000 RMB per year, for a maximum of three years. If tuition exceeds this amount, the student is responsible for paying the difference.
3. Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must:
- Nationality: Be a citizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China.
- Health: Be in good physical and mental health.
- Degree: Hold a Bachelor’s degree.
- Age: Be under 35 years old.
- Language proficiency:
- Programs taught in Chinese: HSK level required.
- Programs taught in English: IELTS or TOEFL scores required.
