McNeill Postgraduate Research Scholarship 2025 is a highly competitive scholarship, that provides the following benefits:

• An Annual stipend of $50,291 (to cover your living expenses)
• Extra funding to support your research activities
• Financial assistance to relocate to Monash(if you are compatible)

The candidate must fulfill the following conditions to be eligible for the McNeill Postgraduate Research Scholarship 2025

• Must have submitted a scholarship application in the year the scholarship is offered.
• Must be undertaking research that is environmentally responsible and socially beneficial.
• Must meet Monash University’s competitive scholarship selection requirements.
• Must satisfy Monash University’s English language proficiency requirements.
• Students undertaking Joint Research Awards are also eligible if Monash University is the home institution.

• Australian humanitarian visa holders
• International students

The McNeill Postgraduate Research Scholarship 2025 is available for students conducting research in the following faculties:

• Arts (School of Music only)
• Engineering
• Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences
• Science

 

• Applications for graduate research scholarships are submitted at the same time as your course application, unless you are already enrolled.
• Both new applicants and current students use the myApp Portal for course admission and scholarship applications.
• You do not need to select specific scholarships; eligible applicants are automatically considered for all available graduate research scholarships.
• This scholarship is awarded during the 31 October scholarship round only. Eligible applicants from Rounds 1–4 (of the same year) are automatically considered for nomination by the relevant faculty.
• The McNeill Postgraduate Research Scholarship is offered once every two years from R4/2024.
• Different scholarships may have varying application requirements, so review all details carefully and ensure your application is submitted by the specified deadline.
• New applicants must first receive an invitation to apply from the relevant faculty before starting their application.
