Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarships are awarded for the following MRes research projects in Music:

Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must:

Hold an offer for the full-time MRes Music program starting in September 2025
-
Demonstrate strong interest in the research themes (culture, creativity, social value, performance health, music education)

Meet all academic entry requirements for the MRes program
-
For international applicants: meet the English language requirements by the application deadline
-
Be able to cover the fee difference if paying international tuition (UK fee covered; international fee for 2025–26 is £24,600)

Full tuition fee waiver equivalent to the UK fee (£5,006 for 2025–26)

Research involvement in prestigious cultural and educational initiatives

Collaboration with industry professionals including RealWorth, Young Sounds UK, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, and leading academic researchers.
