ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
1. Undergraduates
- For students beginning their degrees in September 2026 only.
- Only available to students assessed as self-funded overseas fee payers who are paying fees directly, also open to international students who are assessed as overseas fee payers, but are currently resident in the UK for purposes of study.
- Not stackable with other University of Kent scholarships.
- Students who are studying an SQA or SATC based in China are not eligible
- Applicants who have applied for distance learning programmes are not eligible.
- Applicants who have applied for a short term programme are not eligible.
- Applicants from the Kent and Medway Medical School or the School of Pharmacy are not eligible.
- Students joining us from Aix Marseille University under a 2+2 agreement are not eligible.
- Students joining us for the Business top up, taught via Beaconhouse International College are not eligible.
- Applicants studying under UKIC or progressing to their undergraduate degree from UKIC are not eligible.
2. Postgraduate Taught (KBS) - Master
- Must be domiciled in Bangladesh, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Türkiye or Vietnam.
- Applicants must have applied for taught postgraduate programmes within Kent Business School.
- Applicants who have applied for programmes outside of Kent Business School are not eligible.
- This scholarship is for students beginning their degrees in September 2026 only
- Only available to students assessed as self-funded overseas fee payers who are paying fees directly to University of Kent.
- Applicants are not eligible for this scholarship who:
- Have applied for a Masters which includes the Kent International College integrated pre-Masters
- Have applied for distance learning programmes
- Have applied for a PCert or PDip programme
- Are on short-term programmes
- Have applied to Finance, Investment and Risk (Dual Award) MSc or Business Analytics (Dual Award) MSc
- Should you apply for a higher value scholarship and be successful, then you will receive the higher value award. The Kent International Scholarship (KBS) will then be retracted.
FINANCIAL SUPPORT
- Bachelor
- Offer automatic scholarships of £5,000 to eligible applicants
- The first £3,000 will be taken off the tuition fees for the first year of study, the remaining £2,000 will be deducted from the tuition fees when you progress to the second stage of study.
- If you are studying with us for just one year, you will receive the £3,000 tuition fee waiver only
- Master
- Offer automatic scholarships of £3,000 to Kent Business School applicants
- This is alongside our reduced Tuition fees, which could save you up to £4,000 in comparison to last year

- There is no application process.
- All eligible applicants will be contacted with a scholarship offer in due course, which they will need to accept.
