Benefits
The following are the scholarships offered currently to international students, commencing their studies in the academic year 2025-26.
- Undergraduate Scholarship – Under this scholarship, successful students will receive £2,500.
- MBA Scholarship – Successful students of the MBA degree program will be offered up to £4,000. This scholarship will be based on their academic and/or professional, evidenced work experience.
- Vice Chancellor Scholarship – Those candidates who are offered the Vice-Chancellor Scholarship will be conferred to the university’s several MA and MSc programs. The criteria will be based on candidates’ academic and/or professional, and evidenced work experience. Up to £3,500 will be awarded to successful candidates.
- Full Fee Discount – Up to £1,000 will be offered as a full fee discount to those studying a full-time undergraduate, postgraduate taught, or MBA programs who pay their fee in full by the deadline of the deposit date.
- Alumni Scholarship – Successful applicants under this scholarship scheme will be offered a 20% reduction in course fees. This scholarship scheme will be offered to all students who have completed a Cardiff Metropolitan undergraduate degree program enrolling in postgraduate taught programs in Cardiff.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Cardiff Metropolitan University Scholarships 2026 International Scholarships, applicants have to accept their offer by the deposit deadline.
- For the Undergraduate, MBA, Alumni, and Vice Chancellor Scholarships, please note:
- Candidates are entitled to one scholarship only and will not be eligible to obtain multiple scholarships from the university
- As far as the Vice Chancellor Scholarship is concerned, it applies to PG taught programs only, with a £17,600 fee. Other specialist programs (courses) do not qualify
- For the Alumni Scholarship, it is offered to Cardiff Metropolitan undergraduate program holders, including students who are from the university’s TNE partnership institutions who study a master’s degree on the university’s Cardiff campus
