The University of Milan offers 160 Excellence Scholarships for international students to start their studies in Italy for the academic year 2025-26. International Students enrolled in the first year of a Master’s Degree Program are eligible for the Excellence Scholarship. The University of Milan Excellence Scholarships are for the top 160 applicants who submit applications for admission to a master’s degree before 31 May 2025. Sixty scholarships valued at €8,000 each, along with full tuition fee waivers, are offered. One hundred scholarships with Full tuition fee exemptions are also provided.

International students can enroll in the same way as Italian students; however, they may have to go through additional steps:

This scholarship is open to applicants of any nationality.

• Candidates are not required to apply separately for a scholarship. The University of Milan will automatically consider students who have completed the admission application form for the award.
• To apply for the Master’s program, students must hold a Bachelor’s degree.
• Students may be required to prove English language test results (level B1 or B2 equivalent to CEFER).
• Applicants must have high academic standing to be eligible for this excellence scholarship.
