Benefit

• Monthly stipend: 140,000 JPY per month for two years (for both Master's and Doctoral students).
• Travel allowance: Economy air travel and other travel-related expenses reimbursed up to 250,000 JPY after arrival in Japan.

Eligibility

• Must not hold Japanese nationality (dual nationality holders included).
• Must obtain a student visa to enter Japan for the purpose of study.
• Must be residing outside Japan until the start of the program and have not resided in Japan for longer than 31 days in total.
• Japanese language proficiency at least equivalent to JLPT N4 or above.
• Born after April 2, 1982.
• Be willing to communicate with Rotary members and participate in relevant cultural exchange activities.

• Applicants must apply to both APU and the scholarship organization independently.
• You need to indicate your intention to be considered as a Rotary Yoneyama Scholarship candidate in the APU Online Application System and submit your application directly to APU.
