Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) is a prestigious institution in China, renowned for its excellent foreign language education and diverse academic programs. BENEFITS

The scholarship is divided into three categories:

• Category A (Fully Funded): Covers a full tuition fee waiver, free on-campus dormitory (or a monthly off-campus accommodation allowance of 700 - 1,000 RMB), a monthly living allowance (2,500 RMB for Undergraduates, 3,000 RMB for Masters, 3,500 RMB for PhDs), and comprehensive medical insurance (800 RMB).
• Category B (Partially Funded): Covers tuition fees, accommodation fees, and comprehensive medical insurance.
• Category C (Partially Funded): Covers tuition fees and comprehensive medical insurance. (Note: This is the most common category for newly admitted undergraduates, master's, and non-degree students).

ELIGIBILITY

• Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good physical and mental health.
• Academic Performance: Must hold a minimum average score of 80/100 or a GPA of 3.0.
• Age Limits & Background: Bachelor’s & Foundation: High school graduate, under 25 (under 24 for foundation).
• Master’s: Bachelor’s degree holder, under 35.
• Doctoral (PhD): Master’s degree holder, under 40.
• Visiting/Exchange: Meet program requirements, under 45 (or under 50 for visiting scholars).
• Chinese-taught programs: Minimum HSK Level 4 for degree programs; HSK Level 3 for foundation/visiting.
• English-taught programs: Accepted certificates include IELTS, TOEFL, etc., as specified by the respective faculty.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

• Completed Beijing Government Scholarship Application Form (downloaded from the BFSU portal).
• Copy of Passport.
• Highest academic degree certificate and academic transcripts.
• Language proficiency certificates (HSK, IELTS, TOEFL, etc.).
• CSCA score report (for undergraduate applicants).
