At TU Delft, the Justus & Louise van Effen Excellence Scholarships are financed by the legacy of Justus and Louise van Effen. Mr. van Effen studied at TU Delft in the 1940’s and strongly believed technological developments will contribute to solving societal issues. The foundation aims to stimulate excellent international MSc students and financially support them in their wish to study at TU Delft.

Benefit
- Full tuition fees per year for a TU Delft MSc programme based on the statutory fee or institutional rate, according to the registered nationality.
- Contribution for the living expenses.
Eligibility
- You are an excellent international applicant (conditionally) admitted to one of the 2-year regular TU Delft MSc programmes (not an International Joint Education Programme).
- Students must have achieved excellent academic results in their previous study programme(s). As an indication, the student is amongst the top 10% of graduates in their previous study programme (proof of ranking is not required).
- You must not be a current TU Delft bachelor’s student or an international student who has obtained a bachelor's degree at a Dutch University.
- You have not already started your MSc studies at TU Delft (the scholarship is only for new, incoming students).
- You must have submitted a complete MSc application before the scholarship deadline.

- Scholarship Application Form.
- Two reference letters.
- English language certificate.
How to apply
All documents required must be submitted at once with the MSc Application. After submission, no additional documents can be uploaded.

- Step 2: Upload the Scholarship Application Form.
- Step 3: Upload two reference letters (either combined in one PDF during your MSc application or requested from referees via the system).
- Step 4: Upload the English language certificate before the scholarship deadline.
